SBI BANK EXAM PATTERN 2023:

The State Bank of India (SBI) conducts various exams for different positions, including Probationary Officer (PO), Clerk, and Specialist Officer (SO). Here is the exam pattern for the SBI Bank PO exam:


1. SBI PO Preliminary Exam Pattern:

   - This is the initial stage of the selection process.

   - The exam is conducted online and consists of objective-type questions.

   - The duration of the exam is one hour.

   - The paper is divided into three sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability.

   - The total marks for the exam are 100.

   - There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

   - Candidates must qualify in each section by securing the minimum cutoff marks.


2. SBI PO Main Exam Pattern:

   - Candidates who qualify in the preliminary exam are eligible to appear for the main exam.

   - The main exam is also conducted online and consists of both objective-type and descriptive-type questions.

   - The exam is divided into two parts: Objective Test and Descriptive Test.

   - The Objective Test consists of four sections: Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis and Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, and English Language.

   - The Descriptive Test consists of two questions: Letter Writing and Essay Writing.

   - The total marks for the main exam are 250 (200 marks for the Objective Test and 50 marks for the Descriptive Test).

   - The duration of the Objective Test is three hours, and the Descriptive Test is conducted for 30 minutes.

3. Group Exercises and Interview:

   - Candidates who qualify in the main exam are shortlisted for the Group Exercises (GE) and Interview round.

   - The GE and Interview carry a total of 50 marks.

   - Candidates are assessed based on their communication skills, leadership qualities, problem-solving abilities, and other relevant factors.


The final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the main exam and the GE and Interview round, with a weightage of 75% and 25% respectively.
